A mess and Brussels No but Zurich Yes

Yes, I am still alive. And kicking wild.

I have been away. For a break. At home. And was busy cleaning up messes. With the income tax inspector for instance. Then also I had to prepare the Annual General Assembly of my historic railway company. I barely had time to take care of my family. But that was OK, they were busy themselves a lot too. But we had good moments, short ones, together.

Now, I am on my way back to Liberia. Where there is another mess. With the situation in Ivory Coast not improving and getting worse and worse, we have a huge influx of refugees. There will be a lot of work waiting for me. And the whole team. We are ready, we can intervene any time. But other organisations are wasting to much time in meetings (and we have, basically, to attend them but try to escape if and when we can) instead of "acting on the ground". Well, let's not loose hope. They might improve. They can be lucky because of Libya, Japan and some other "hot" issues, CNN is not very much interested of what is going on here.

Well, with my travelling I made some experiences. I passed, for the first time since 25 years, through Brussels. A very convenient airport. But NO smoking places at all. None, zilch, nada. Very painful after 7 hours in an aircraft. I also passed, for the first time since 10 years, through Zurich. I still do not like that airport. Not convenient at all. But they have smoking lounges. A lot of them. Very pleasant after 1 hour in an aircraft.

So, thats some brief news from me. I will make an effort to be more present in the blogoshere. As I am not going to church, I can spend time on Sundays. I will.
