Originality. A particular or special idea can be original. We also say from human beings that they are "Originals" when, again, they are particular or special. I will not be original. What is to come below is simply "copy - paste". But then, I don't believe in re-inventing the wheel.
I received another award. The "Blogging Mentor Award". It is beautiful. It has been created by Sue from Australia. Here she says why she created this award:
I have gained so much more knowledge of blogging than I could possibly have learned just by researching the subject. This is all due to the help, support and encouragement I have received from other bloggers. I have therefore created the "Blogging Mentor Award" to recognize and thank those who help us on our path to blogging, be it encouraging and helping us to start blogging or helping us to be the best we can, once we have started.
This is the first wheel that I have not re-invented.
The award was passed to me by Laurie (Loz, Lozster). He tells us why he "gives" it further:
I thought that I would pass this onto people who have been regular readers and contributors to this blog through their comments and who have helped me on my journey. Back in the early days when my only reader was me I didn't realise how important other people would become. Slowly there began to be the odd comment here and there and the people below were those who really encouraged me to keep writing. So whether you may think so or not, you have all been my mentors. I have learnt by your comments and by my visits to your blogs. You have offered encouragement when I needed it, advice when I asked for it and it is through the generosity of your time that I have kept this blog going.
This is the second wheel I have not re-invented.
Sue has received "help, support and encouragement". Like me. Laurie was a "lone" writer in the blogging world until readers came. Like me. Or like all of us. And all of us are learning by reading our blogs.
It is with pleasure and joy I pass this award on. I will not be original. I simply give it to all in "My favorite blogs". But then, I feel very comfortable about it. Because (and I said this before) the list of my favorites has practically not changed since I made it. I have in there you, the ones, who bring and gave me a lot, since long. And, though not wanting to be "fussy", the list will not get longer and longer because I am "admitting" new "members" only sporadically.
Being a mentor goes both ways. You can mentor me and I can mentor you.
So, my friends, I give this beautiful award to you:
Anji, Lifesinger, Titania, Jennifer. I have learned a lot from you, a lot about tenderness. You make me smile and also think. You are my mentors.
Dr. John, Hafez, Bill. What you write is full of sense. It makes me look further and deeper into things. You are my mentors.
Michael, Phil, Peter. You are showing me a different way of looking at things. You are my mentors.
Marie, Ashley, Pumuckl, Sue, Kai. Simplicity and joy of life make me come back and visit you. You are my mentors.
Gaby, Wanda. You are still young. And sometimes you express worries. And I try to give you an encouragement. Perhaps I am your mentor?
And finally, Laurie (and so the award comes to you again), your are on an extraordinary journey. You are my mentor.
Enough talking now. My thanks to you all and let's celebrate in joy and fly away, like a bird, like a "Pajaro Campagna".

Isn't it nice that by blogging, you touch someone else's lives. Congrats on your award.
I really think you deserve it:)
I thank you for this award. It would not have been possible for me to get it without the cooperation of my wonderful wife Betty. I owe much to my son Patrick who started me blogging so I thank him as well. Thanks to my son Peter who helped with technical aspects. And of course to my daughter Pennie who has to listen to my weird ideas before I put them on the blog extra thanks. Then I thank blogger for giving me all this free space. O I see my time is up. Thanks again I don't really deserve it.
Congratulations on winning another award! You really do deserve all of the praise you get.
I don't think that people who don't blog can understand the bonds that we build across the world.
Thank you for mentioning me.
Thank you Peter for the Award, Sometimes we don't realize our influences we have on others. I never thought of my blog as you have described. I think of your blog more of a place of inspiration and fulfillment as I always come away as if I have learned something.
Like Anji I agree the folks who are not blogging are missing out on making some wonderful friends in this world. If only more people blogged and got to know others how much better this world would be.
Thank you again Peter for the award. It is truly appreciated.

Hello Peter,
Congrats on your new award and thank you for passing the torch. It is true that the blogging world builds frienships and connections you never thought possible.
You made a good point about adding favorites with discretion. I am going to have to start doing that also. Bloggers can be a fickle crowd. They go full blast and then fade quickly into nothingness. You can hear the crickets chirping at their blogs. :o)
Your blog has both inspired me and especially showed me what the "real" world is like out there.
Thank you again my friend.
Thank you Peter.
I have put the button option just below the Blogger icon with my links, so people can see and follow the trail from Sue's original idea, and your treasured award.
I think blogging is a wonderful way to build bridges between people and cultures in the world.
Very nice tributes.
So glad I found you on Bloglines.
Waving at you from New York
Hallo Peter,
irgendjemand muss ja das Schlusslicht sein...richtig? Ich habe diesen Award ja total verpasst und verschlafen. Shame on me!
Congratulations, Peter! :D
*and thank you*
Blessings,
~~Life
